GETTING TO THE NEXT LEVEL
Recruiting information for the College Bound Player
We have compiled the following information for those interested in continuing their careers at the college level. We hope that you find this information helpful as you begin the process of working towards becoming a college athlete.
SAT PREP CLASS
One of our goals is to help prepare our athletes for college, and preparation for the SAT’s is an important part of putting yourself in a good position to get into the school you want. Many D1 and D2 schools offer players the opportunity to earn a good chunk of their tuition from academic aid! So, we are really excited to announce that starting Saturday, October 7th, we will be sponsoring an 8 week SAT Prep course led by Karen Hartley. Karen has a BS in Chemical Engineering, an MBA, and is currently a Math Instructor at South Piedmont Community College. Sessions will be held from 3:00 – 5:30, every Saturday leading up to December’s SAT date, at the Hartley home (in the Marvin Ridge area). The cost per student is $400 (checks will be written Karen and brought on the first day). It is open to all high school student-athletes who want to get great preparation for the SAT’s. If you have questions, please email Karen Directly at firstname.lastname@example.org.
